1912 Enric Pinet was born in Tarragona on 15th December, to Domingo Pinet, jeweller, and Rosario Pàmies.
1928-1930 He studied at the School of Art and Design and Fine Art of Barcelona.
1933 He attended classes in life drawing and painting at the Art Circle of Barcelona.
He was awarded a student grant by the regional government (la Generalitat de Catalunya).
1934 On viewing his "Paisatge Urbà" the Generalitat awarded him a further year’s grant. He participated in the Spring Exhibition on Montjuďc in Barcelona.
1935 Under the direction of Ignasi Mallol, the Academy-Whorkshop of Painting and Sculpture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, opened in Tarragona. Teachers there were Joan Rebull, Enric C. Ricart, Salvador Martorell, Josep M. Capdevila and Rafael Benet. Enric Pinet attended classes here. On his return from Morroco, he exhibited, once again, in the Spring Exhibition of Montjuďc.
1936 Again, he took part in the Spring Exhibition of Montjuďc. He continued his studies at the Academy-Workshop in Tarragona. When he finished the course here, he, Ignasi Mallol and several other students moved to Cornudella de Montsant.
The Spanish Civil War started.
1937 With the painting "Pytxer 1936", he took part in an exhibition in support of the victims of fascism. The paintings were sent to México for the exhibition but were confiscated on the way by Pro-Franco forces and were not recovered until 1980.
1940 Enric married Maria Rosa Fort. He participated in the Barcelona Fine Arts Exhibition with a painting of his new wife.
He also exhibited in the Sabadell Academy of Fine Arts Exhibition and in "Fayan’s Català" in Barcelona.
1947 His daughter, Laura, was born.
1948 He exhibited at the Pictoria Gallery in Barcelona and won the Tapiró medal for his oil painting "Two figures", "Dues Figures". He was invited to take part in the exhibition of Cerviŕ with his altarpiece of San Eudaldo.
1949 He had an exhibition in the "Amics de l’Art" Gallery in Tarragona.
1953 In the Spring Exhibition, he won third prize with his painting "Sarrià", which is kept at the Museum of Modern Art of Barcelona.
1954 He won the Tapiró medal for a second time for his painting "Peix de Roca”. The same painting was entered for the "Comtat Sant Jordi” prize of Barcelona.
1955 He had an exhibition in the "Jaimes" Gallery in Barcelona.
1965 He exhibited at La Pinacoteca in Barcelona and the "Círculo de Reus".
1968 He held an exhibition at the Study Centre of Reus.
1969 He recovered from a serious illness. He set up his studio in Cornudella de Montsant.
1970-1972 He exhibited, once again, at the Study Centre of Reus.
1974 He exhibited at the Abbot’s Palace at Santes Creus and, again, at the Study Centre of Reus. Unfortunately, however he suffered a relapse into ill health and was moved to Barcelona, where he died on 29th November.
